Volunteers
Huntington's WA is always looking for volunteers to lend a helping hand to get the work done. As a not-for-profit organisation we rely heavily on community support to fulfil our commitment to people with Huntington's Disease, their friends, families and carers.
Volunteers are fundamental to the success of our much needed services and programs.Your vital contribution as a volunteer enables us to reach out to more people and, by reducing costs, ensure that maximum funds are directed towards support, education and research.
Volunteers assist in a variety of activities as follows:
- Fund raising - Assisting with street appeals, quiz nights, major raffles and seeking sponsorship
- Social Support
General office work including:
- Photocopying the newsletter
- Writing newsletter articles
- Packing and posting our quarterly newsletter.
We warmly welcome your support, whether it is participating in one of our exciting events or becoming one of our valuable volunteers.
If you are able to help, please contact us. It is not necessary to make a large commitment of your time.
